Why Can’t We All Just Get Along?

If I get one more email about Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s sermon, I’m going to scream!

This controversy has definitely brought some things to the surface that needed to be discussed. Unfortunately the unresolved anger on both sides is blinding us to the blessings we bring to each other.

I feel blessed and privileged to live in a country as diverse as ours. If you have friends of other races and cultures, as I do, would you trade them for anything? I wouldn’t.

My friends make my life so much richer and give it perspective. They help me remember that I am not the center of the universe and neither is America. The circumstances and opinions of other people do matter.

Please remember that when you respond to whatever anyone may say to you about this issue.
